JUST MOVED FROM LA OR NYC?

You already know what a lockout is.

If you came up in a CA or NY scene, you know the drill. Drum kit ready. Amps stay miked. PA is where you left it. You walk in at midnight on a Tuesday and run the set without breaking down a single piece of gear.

Nashville does not really do that. Most "rehearsal spaces" here are hourly studios you bring everything to and tear down at the end. Or storage units near Charlotte Ave with extension cords and zero soundproofing.

HOME is built like the lockouts you are used to. East Nashville, real walls, real treatment, gear stays where you put it.

Lockout rehearsal room with full band setup left in place
WHAT "LOCKOUT" MEANS AT HOME

Four things that make this an actual lockout

Not a parking-garage-with-egg-crates situation. Not an hourly room you tear down every time. A real dedicated rehearsal space your band can call home.

24/7 keycard access

You get a physical key. Walk in any time, day or night. No business hours. No texting the owner to unlock the door at 10pm. Members come in at 2am and nobody cares.

Leave your gear set up

Drum kit stays on the riser. Bass amp stays miked. Pedalboard stays patched. Build members essentially have the room. No tearing down, no hauling, no recalibrating tones every rehearsal.

Backline included

Drum kit, guitar amps, bass amp, full PA, mics, keys, MIDI controllers. PMC and Focal monitors for playback. Bring sticks and your guitar. Everything else is here.

Treated, soundproofed, safe

520+ sq ft of real soundproofing. Climate controlled (Nashville heat is real). Cameras and keycard entry. Not a storage unit with extension cords. Your gear is actually safe here.

Lockout Pricing, Direct

No "contact us for a quote." No buried hourly fees. Three plans, expensive to cheap. Pick the one that matches how often your band actually rehearses.

REAL TALK

Why most Nashville "rehearsal spaces" are not lockouts

We are direct about this because the search results lie. You type "rehearsal space Nashville" and you get hourly recording studios, storage units, and venues that "double as rehearsal." Here is what actually trips bands up:

Hourly only, no monthly option

You pay $50 to $80 an hour, every time. Add it up over a year of weekly rehearsals and it is way more than a membership. Plus you tear down every single time.

Cannot leave your gear

Hourly studios reset between bookings. Drums break down. Amps go back in the closet. Your tone is different every week because the patch is never the same.

No 24/7 access

Most spaces are 9am to 9pm. If your day job runs late, you do not rehearse. Lockouts solve this. Late-night and early-morning sessions are normal.

Storage unit "lockouts"

Bands keep telling you to call Charlotte Ave storage. Climate-controlled-ish unit, extension cord power, zero soundproofing, neighbors above you. It works until it does not.

Sharing with strangers

Some spots rent the same room to four different bands per day. You set up, play, tear down, leave. Repeat next week. No one's space is anyone's space.

No real backline

"PA included" sometimes means a beat-up Peavey and a 58 with no clip. We list every piece of gear in the room because we use it ourselves.

HOME is the closest thing Nashville has to a real LA-style band lockout.

Built by working musicians who got tired of the alternatives.

This is the gap. People say it out loud.

"I am looking for music rehearsal space but everything that came up in my search is a recording studio. In LA they refer to the 24/7 rehearsal space rentals as lockouts, but I am not seeing that term on any Nashville listings."

r/Nashville

"I am sort of looking for a permanent home, somewhere I do not have to pay an hourly rate but I am beginning to think that is going to be hard to come by."

r/Nashville, Nashville drummer

"Monthly rental wanted. I need the space entirely to myself. I need electricity and HVAC, running water would be nice. Need to be able to get loud at ALL HOURS."

r/Nashville

We built HOME for exactly this.

Not because lockouts are a clever new idea. Because Nashville did not have one and our own bands needed it. So we made it.

My band had practices and filmed a music video in Studio B! Great staff with a full stock of equipment and knowledge to get the job done right! Also met a lot of cool people also in the industry, highly recommend!

Such a cool environment with several offerings for smaller artists looking for a practice space. Super cool vibe and the monthly fee is fair for the amount of offerings that the space provides.

HOME is a phenomenal concept that gives members a base of operations for all of our practical needs. From rehearsal space to a recording studio, HOME has it all. I'm so stoked this concept came to East Nashville!

The facility itself is allowing our clients and myself to build our musical vision from the studio, to rehearsals, to the stage, all at a rate that musicians can afford. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This place is amazing well thought out, planned and executed. It has a huge acoustic room for a full band. They have an A1 studio control room and recording booth. They also have a live stage room to set up for a concert.

It's rare to find a place so purely dedicated to helping Indie musicians succeed. The value is unreal for artists, from co-working space, to rehearsal space, the studio, workshops, mentors, etc.
